Overview

The Global Center for Health Diplomacy and Inclusion (CeHDI) is a nonprofit organization serving as a catalyst for collaboration and global health diplomacy. They facilitate and support government action to advance the Right to Health for all, with particular focus on amplifying Global South priorities in international health discussions.

Challenge

CeHDI needed a modern, performant website that could effectively communicate their mission of bridging borders for global health equity. The existing platform required a complete overhaul to better serve their international audience and support their growing content needs around health policy, events, and the Health & Rights Observatory.

Solution

I led the technical redesign of the CeHDI website, implementing a modern JAMstack architecture with Next.js and Sanity CMS. The project encompassed full-stack responsibilities from infrastructure management to frontend implementation.

• Built API endpoints using Next.js API routes
• Implemented efficient data fetching patterns with proper caching strategies

Results

Delivered a modern, performant website that effectively communicates CeHDI's mission to global stakeholders. The new Sanity CMS integration empowers the team to manage content independently, while the SSR implementation ensures fast load times and strong SEO performance for their international audience.
