Senior Web App Consultant for Swiss Teams
Web app consultant for Swiss teams
Architecture, build, rescue. React/Next.js stacks. EU-incorporated, CHF or EUR invoicing. Async-first.
When you need a consultant, not a contractor
A contractor takes a ticket and ships it. A consultant tells you which tickets are wrong before you waste a sprint building them. If you're starting a web app, scaling one, or trying to figure out why yours is slow, expensive or unmaintainable, you need the second.
Ten years of building production web apps for healthcare, policy, Web3 and pharma clients. I do the architecture call you don't currently have someone senior enough to make.
What I do
- Architecture reviews. Pre-build and post-build, with honest written assessments.
- Greenfield builds. End-to-end React/Next.js applications, sound architecture from day one.
- Rescue projects. Taking over half-built or broken apps from previous developers, AI-generated codebases, or failed agency engagements.
- Technical co-founder / fractional CTO. Senior brain in the room without hiring full-time yet.
- Team coaching. Working alongside your existing developers, raising the level rather than replacing them.
Proof, not promises
- Flowrence (healthcare): full architectural lead, multi-tenant SaaS, Nx monorepo, SST deployment to AWS.
- CeHDI (policy): rescue project, took over a failed handover and delivered production Next.js + Sanity.
- Gems XYZ (Web3 social): real-time social platform with Solana integrations, relevant for Crypto Valley clients.
- Altimetrik (agency partnership): white-label senior delivery.
How engagements work
- paid scoping call (1 to 4 hours, fixed price). Output: an honest assessment of your project and a recommended engagement shape.
- From there: hourly retainer, fixed-scope sprint, or fractional CTO arrangement.
- Invoice in CHF or EUR. VAT reverse-charge for Swiss VAT-registered clients.
- Async-first.
FAQ
Are you a consultant or a developer? Both. Senior engineers who only consult lose touch with the code; senior engineers who only code miss the bigger picture.
Do you work fractional CTO arrangements? Yes, typically 8 to 20 hours per week with full team and roadmap involvement.
What does a rescue look like? Day one: audit codebase, repository, deployment, data model. Week one: written assessment with rebuild vs salvage analysis. After that: scoped sprints.
